thank you for your interest in our little camping oasis!

The 2025 season is drawing to a close. Many thanks to everyone who visited us and for all your positive feedback and reviews!

If you would like to visit us in November and December, you are welcome to do so. However, please make sure to arrange this with us in advance, preferably by telephone. Unfortunately, it will no longer be possible to just turn up spontaneously from November onwards.
We will then be closed from January until mid-March. We expect to reopen our little oasis of relaxation for you on Friday, 20 March 2026.

In the summer season between May and October, please refrain from sending us an e-mail with requests for a pitch "from to". Please use our reservation function on the homepage or the following link. Simply enter your travel date here and everything that is free will be displayed.

Basically, we almost always have something free, but please note the check-in times.

All transit campers with caravans or motorhomes are requested to drive directly to the "Caravaterassen Sunset" and then walk to reception to register. This saves inexperienced caravan drivers in particular from having to turn around in front of the reception. The two "Sunset caravan terraces" are located immediately after the entrance to the campsite on the right-hand side. Look for a free pitch and then walk to reception (1 minute walk).

Our Mexican Diner "El Quetzal" is open every until end of September Thursday to Sunday from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Emilia from Mexico City will spoil you here with a fine selection of Mexican street food specialities, but delicious currywurst or burgers are also on her small, changing menu.

Our recreational oasis in the northern Fichtelgebirge, five kilometers south of the Kornberg, offers nature-based relaxation at its best. On the site, nestled in a valley south of the charming village Heidelheim near Selb, you can leave the daily stress behind you.

Our campsite is the ideal starting point for all kinds of outdoor activities. Hikers, mountain bikers and motorcyclists in particular get their money's worth in the Fichtelgebirge.

I, Christian Schemm, took over the campsite at the turn of the year 21/22. After extensive renovation, the "Schemmpingplatz" was reopened in May 2022. My three four-legged friends Vomit, Wicked and Pipa are always with me, which is why dog owners are also very welcome too.

I want to create a place where everyone can be themselves without being a pain in the ass.

You can pick up fresh baked goods from the bakery window between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. We offer Kaisersemmeln, multigrain rolls and delicious pretzel croissants in our small bakery.

To cool off on particularly hot days, we also offer ice cream on a stick. After waking up, delicious coffee from the fully automatic machine is available around the clock and the Franconian beer, drinks and snack machine quenches your thirst in our casual beer garden with a view of the lake.

For those of you who don't have your own roof over your head, there are various accommodation options on site.

Rental tents from Qeedo including mattress and own veranda, CampingCubes with bed, electricity and fridge or Tinyhouses with own sanitary facilities and a kitchen block, choose what you like and find out what you love!
